Ignacio Ramos, one of the most popular politicians in the area, has announced his retirement from politics following the 2019 Municipal Elections. The current mayor of Pilar de la Horadada will be replaced as leader of the local PSOE group by his current Cllr for tourism, Pilar Samper.
