The Department of Tourism has published a varied programme of tourist routes to close 2024, prioritising those that have been in the greatest demand over the year.
On December 12, the Visit to the Diocesan Seminary of San Miguel will allow those attending to enjoy one of the most iconic areas of the city, whose demand quickly exhausts the available places, every time the Department organises this route. On 19 December, the cultural route continue with a visit to the Church of San Juan and the Colegio de Santo Domingo, two emblematic places of the city of Orihuela.
On 21 December, the UMH Campus Desam-parados, the Science Museum and a Healthy Christmas Baking Workshop for all ages, at a cost of 3 euros, will be something a little different. For nature and sport lovers, on 22 December there will be a bicycle route to the Norias Gemelas, where bikers can enjoy the rich environment offered by the twin waterwheels.
The Nativity Scenes route by the tourist train is one not to be missed during the Christmas month. On 26, 27, 29 and 30 December, visitors will be able to visit the most outstanding nativity scenes in the city, departing from the Plaza Teniente Linares by train.
In addition, the Department of Tourism is keeping the Orihuela Solidarity campaign active, aimed at collecting products for the Asoka association. Donations can be handed in at the Tourist Office.
The routes will be available weekly. To book the routes, please go to the website [www.orihuelaturistica.es] or contact via WhatsApp at 673 836 385.
