Torrevieja’s commercial activity will receive an economic boost of 1,202,023 euros for the 2024 Consumer Bonus campaign. This is one of the largest amounts allocated in the province of Alicante.
It is a generous amount that can be redeemed in the last two months of the year, between November 1 and December 31, in retail establishments in the municipality that are participating in the campaign.
The Torrevieja Council is currently finalising the programme following publication of the scheme in the Official Gazette.
Each person will be able to purchase vouchers to a maximum value of €100 that may be exchanged for €200 worth of goods.
To participate and benefit from the promotion, it is necessary to purchase the vouchers in advance, between 14 October and 31 December, both inclusive, while supplies last. This can be carried out in person or electronically. This last option will be available from 14 October, at 2:00 p.m., accessing through the enabled website, and can be carried out in one’s own name by those people in possession an electronic or digital certification system.
To buy the vouchers in person, the key dates will be October 18, from 8:00 a.m., until October 31, at 8:00 p.m. This in-person purchase of vouchers will take place in the offices to be notified by the Council by people who must take along with them their DNI or NIE, in addition to being of legal age, attending in person and by appointment.
These requirements will not apply to people with functional diversity or physically disabled, who may purchase vouchers through their parents or legal guardians, upon presentation of the supporting document that proves their condition and the DNI or NIE of the person represented.
