The Local Police in Elche discovered a weapons stash in a home in the Las Bayas area of the city.
It was in the evening when the officers assigned to the preventive control of robberies in the district observed a suspicious vehicle, so they proceeded to identify it. At that moment a man came out of the adjoining home. When verifying his identity, there was a restraining order for a woman who, according to the database, resided at the address.
After asking permission, the officers entered the house and verified that the woman did not live there. During the inspection, two Civil War weapons and a double-barrelled shotgun were found on the side of a cabinet, which were not in a gun cabinet and were unprotected, in addition to being undeclared. The officers seized the weapons and made the corresponding report.
