An earthquake was recorded in Santa Pola this morning measuring 1.6 degrees on the Richter scale.
The seismic movement occurred at 00:25 hours with the epicenter northeast of the island of Tabarca.
This is the fourth earthquake that has occurred this January in the province of Alicante, following those registered in Salinas (Alto Vinalopó), Crevillent (Baix Vinalopó) and Planes (El Comtat).
In this morning’s quake there are no reports of damage or injuries.
