On Wednesday, 19th October, the Raquel Paya School for special needs students in Denia was visited, by WBro Bill Taylor, outgoing Worshipful Master of the local Freemason’s Lodge, Sprig of Acacia, No 43, along with Ms Chris Taylor to present a cheque for €500 to the school.
The cheque was presented to Sra Beatriz Mayor Juan, a teacher of the cafeteria project and also the coordinator of the transition to adult life classroom.
This is the area where the students are taught to relate to the outside world and to prepare them for employment. It is obvious from their response that the school is doing an excellent job.
WBro Bill was thanked profusely for the donation and informed that he was welcome to return on any Wednesday to sample the food.
