The countdown is on for the hilarious pantomime, “Snow White and the 7 Guiris,” by the Adapt Theatre Group! This unique production puts a fresh spin on the classic story, performed in both English and Spanish.
For the past 14 years, Adapt has welcomed their Spanish friends and neighbours to experience the fun and eccentricity of pantomime, a cherished British tradition. The show has become a beloved event for locals in the Mar Menor area, raising significant funds for worthy local causes.
Learning Spanish lines can be a challenge for the predominantly non-Spanish speaking cast! But with help from patient teachers and friendly neighbours, they’ve mastered the basics. Now, they not only know Prince Charming translates to “el príncipe azul,” but can also shout a classic warning in Spanish: “¡está detrás de ti!” (He’s behind you!) alongside the local children.

The pantomime takes place on November 28th, 29th, and 30th at 7 pm, and December 1st at 12 pm. All shows are held at the Salón de Actos, Casa de Cultura, c/Alcalde Julio Albaladejo, San Pedro del Pinatar.
