The Secretary Councilor of the Local Government Board of the Torrevieja City Council, Federico Alarcón, announced today the approval of the dossier, justification report, technical specifications, and administrative terms for the acquisition, maintenance, and installation of vertical signage throughout the municipality of Torrevieja.
Alarcón, who also serves as the Councilor for Security and Emergencies, stated that the contract aims to cover the purchase, maintenance, and placement of vertical signage, beacons, and containment systems in the city. This includes:
- Replacement of existing traffic signs, beacons, and containment systems
- Maintenance of access restriction fences for pedestrian areas and schools
- Ground-level illuminated beacons and vertical illuminated signage
- Installation of new vertical signs, both illuminated and conventional
The contract will be valid for one year from the signing date, with the option of a one-year extension. The initial bidding budget is set at €500,000 per year, making the total potential contract value €1 million if the extension is exercised.
