Pilar de la Horadada Council has presented €50,000 in aid to small businesses that was bid for in 2022.
Last week the mayor of Pilar de la Horadada, José María Pérez, and employment Councillor, Susi Sánchez, opened the VII Conference for Entrepreneurs.
There were 100 attendees, among whom were 30 entrepreneurs who have recently started their commercial activity, and who were about to receive municipal support.
Under the title “Forging roots to maintain consistency”, tutor Yvan Conejero underlined the characteristics and values necessary to establish roots for a start-up business.
He spoke of key points to success, and how to manage emotions as well as getting the most out of it in business, and personal fields.
The attendees were able to see the video of “Emprende en Pilar de la Horadada”, through which several entrepreneurs from previous years revealed the keys necessary to establish a successful business in Pilar de la Horadada.
One of the most anticipated moments of the day was when the cheques for the Municipal financial aid requested by the entrepreneurs in 2022 were presented.
The Mayor and employment Councillor presented 30 cheques amounting to €50,000, assigned for the aid programme for the creation of companies for the year 2022.
The 2023 financial aid can now be requested for those entrepreneurs who have begun their business, or plan to do so. The aid application period will end on December 31, 2023.
“These conferences are subsidised by the Diputación de Alicante,” said the councillor.
