The Civil Guard and the National Police are looking for Neculay Erreygers, a 13 year old boy who disappeared in Torrevieja yesterday (Tuesday 8 May).
The child was last seen at around 2 pm on Tuesday after leaving the Libertas Institute, where he is studying. It is located in the area of Aguas Nuevas, in Torrevieja.
Neculay attended class but after leaving the centre he did not return home, according to statement.
At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a grey T-shirt with short sleeves and dark blue sports shorts.
On realising that the teenager had not returned home, the family contacted the police on Tuesday afternoon during which time they also searched all of his usual haunts as well as making contact with his friends.
The family, from Belgium, has distributed a photograph of the minor and data that they hope will help to find him.
Neculay is 1.63 metres in height and weighs 40 kilos. He has short brown hair and light brown eyes.
Any clue to his whereabouts should be reported to the Civil Guard or the National Police.
