Campoverde ‘Old Sea Dogs Group’ staged a celebration dinner on October 21st at Casa Silvio’s restaurant to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar 1805. Trafalgar night has it is commonly known was attended by group members and their guests, who enjoyed a traditional menu finishing off with fine port.
CDR (retd) Mike Phillips chaired the evening and provided a brief history of events during the historical battle. The ‘Loyal toast’ was proposed by Graham Wharrad and the ‘Immortal memory’ proposed by Mike Phillips.
