Santa Pola town hall has issued advice explaining that the Territorial Cadastre Management of Alicante has carried out a new cadastral review that will come into force in 2025 and that updates the values in force since 1998.

In the coming days, property owners in Santa Pola will receive a letter by regular mail sent by the Territorial Management Office containing a personal code that is important to keep.

This personal code, together with the accompanying information, will be used to download (until the deadline of September 29) the corresponding notification with the new cadastral values of your real estate.

This notification can be obtained by connecting to the Internet through the Land Registry website (www.sedecatastro.gob.es) by entering the notifications tab. This notification is not a receipt to pay, but rather information on the new cadastral value of your property, which once obtained and the checks carried out, objections can be submitted to the Territorial Management of Land Registry of Alicante.

Those people who do not have access to the Internet can go to the Civic Centre of the Santa Pola Town Hall, to the Municipal Offices in Gran Alacant, to the Cadastre Management in Alicante or to the SUMA office in Santa Pola, presenting the letter with the code provided and the DNI (or NIE for foreign residents), and the administration will thus provide them with access to their notification free of charge and, if applicable, to present objections.

Likewise, anyone who does not receive the letter with the corresponding code can also go to the offices of the aforementioned administrations with their DNI (or NIE for foreign residents) and they will be provided with the information.

This means of notification does not oblige or condition the citizen in the future, but, in addition to helping to reduce costs, facilitates access to information, allowing them to decide the time and hour at which they want to access their notification.
