Rubén Alfaro visited the bridge over the N-332 prior to the meeting, accompanied by the regional secretary, Joaquín Hernández, and the general secretary of the Torrevieja socialists, Bárbara Soler.
There, he expressed his satisfaction with the upcoming expansion of the road after years of inefficient procedures and empty promises from Popular Party governments: “This is a vital project for the town of Torrevieja, and it will be carried out by a socialist government.”
Soler added, “While others create problems, we solve them.”
During the meeting with party members, held in a packed community center, both leaders took the opportunity to call for early regional elections due to the intense institutional crisis caused by the PP’s lack of leadership, misinformation, and manipulation “at both the regional and national levels.”
Soler emphasized the need for people like Rubén Alfaro or Diana Morant to lead public administrations so that citizens can regain trust in institutions.
