CD Montesinos star goalkeeper Carlos is to remain at the Valencia 2nd Regional G8 team – despite interest from other clubs.
Shot-stopper Carlos won the CD Montesinos 2018-19 Steve Harris Trophy players’ Player of The Year; and the Manager’s Player of The Year awards.
“It is great news that Carlos is to continue his career at CD Montesinos – he is a very good goalkeeper. All the players are delighted,” CD Montesinos midfielder Maccan told me.
Carlos put in outstanding performances throughout last season, in what was the club’s second season in the Valencia 1st Regional G8, that ended in relegation.
Ex-Cambridge City goalkeeper Carlos said: “I was made very welcome by everyone at the club when I arrived. And I am looking forward to the new 2019-20 season.”
Pre-season training is set to get underway this month, with new manager Jesus running the rule over the squad, ahead of the 2019-20 campaign that kicks off in September.
