With very bad weather over the past few days and no buggies allowed on the course a depleted field was inevitable. Despite all the rain the course was acceptable, some difficult conditions on certain parts made life difficult for some of the golfers with the exception of Shaun O’Gorman, not only did he make life easy for himself with a great 36 point win, a 2 on hole 3 and a nearest the pin on hole 16, he then went and sunk an 80-foot putt later in the round. Well done Shaun!
Chasing hard on his heels was Glynn Braidley with 33 points coming second and beating Sylvia Evans on count-back, earning herself a very nice bottle of Pink Gin. Just to keep it in the family Will Evans got nearest the pin on hole 3.
