The Torrevieja City Council has announced the bidding process for the adaptation of two floors of the Multi-purpose Centre to house a training centre for civil servants and a youth leisure centre. The project has a budget of €191,210 (including VAT) and a duration of three months, starting after the signing of the Acta de Replanteo.
The renovations will modify the layout of the third and fifth floors to meet the new needs, including electrical, climate control, and fire protection adjustments. The changes will be reversible, allowing the spaces to be restored to their original design if needed.
The third floor will serve as a youth centre, featuring an auditorium, multipurpose room, activity room, storage areas, and essential infrastructure. The fifth floor will be dedicated to training, with three classrooms, a teachers’ room, a reception and waiting area, storage spaces, and circulation areas.
A flexible partitioning system will allow for adaptable configurations in the youth center, making it easy to adjust the spaces based on future needs.
