SAN LUIS BOWLS CLUB

Just a few days into the Valencian Championships and we already have some positive results.

Two of our players, Gordon Paton and Bill Webb, got through the preliminary round of the Men’s Singles, hopefully they will continue to progress.

Our other team success are the “super Fab 4”: Ian & Sue Kenyon and Stewart & Jane Hamill. in the Mixed Rinks. Travelling away to Bonalba, they played 3 matches in 2 days and somehow managed to survive the heat to win through to the semi-final.

Over the weekend the Ladies and Men’s Singles will continue, up to the semi-finals.

Next week it’s the turn of the Men’s and Ladies pairs and the Mixed Triples. We wish all our competitors the very best of luck for the rest of the tournament.
