The PSOE in Santa Pola is proposing extending the hours of availability for study areas, in the face of the growing demand for spaces for study outside conventional hours, with the aim of having study rooms available 24 hours a day.

This initiative seeks to respond to the needs of a diverse student population, which includes everyone from university students to opposition students, whose obligations and schedules can extend beyond the limits offered by the current spaces.

The proposal highlights the importance of offering students the tools and means necessary for their training, recognising that not all families have an environment conducive to study in their homes. The extension of hours and the creation of new 24-hour study rooms would not only facilitate access to an adequate workspace but would also represent a significant investment in the educational and professional future of the residents of Santa Pola.

With this motion, the Municipal Socialist Group urges the plenary session to consider the acquisition or provision of spaces in both Santa Pola and Gran Alacant, which can serve as study rooms available 24 hours a day. In addition, it proposes a temporary extension of the hours of the current study spaces, until the implementation of the 24-hour rooms materialises.
