Firefighters freed a driver from inside his vehicle after sustaining injuries after losing control of his vehicle and was transferred to the Los Arcos Mar Menor hospital.
The 64-year-old unnamed male was injured on February 20 when he lost control of his vehicle and left the highway RM-01 in San Javier.
Firefighters, San Javier Local Police, Civil Guard, and a Mobile Emergency Unit 061 attended the scene after the Murcia Region 112 Emergency Co-ordination Centre received a call reporting a man who was injured and trapped inside his car.
The driver, the sole occupant, was released by firefighters and treated at the scene, before being transferred to the Los Arcos Mar Menor University Hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unknown.
