Ivie Davies Perpetual Memorial Trophy – Friday 6th April
Today was the final game of the 2017-18 season which was played at Vistabella. The winner of this game received the above trophy at the presentation. The weather was kind to us sunny but a biting wind.
The majority of the players had not played the new 7 holes so it was an experience for them with some good comments, We had the presentation to the winners and runners up of the Vega Baja League after the game and meal in the club house. Thanks go to the Vistabella staff and the Club restaurant who served the lovely meals
The winners of the League was Club 25 Golf and the Coys Rental Cars trophy and Replica was presented by Ron Nicholson Secretary 0f the League to Captain Roy Baker
The Runners up were La Manga RGA who received the Claret Jug. And Replica
The team that was First on the day was La Manga RGA and the Ivie Davies Trophy was presented by Diana Davies the wife of the late Secretary to the team Captain.
