From Wednesday, April 30, to May 4, the Fairgrounds of Pilar de la Horadada will be adorned with lights, lanterns, and vibrant colours as it hosts the twelfth edition of the Feria de Sevillanas.
From the traditional lighting ceremony at 9:30 PM on Wednesday until late Sunday night, local residents and thousands of visitors will enjoy a variety of attractions, including tapas tastings, the midnight Salve Rociera, flamenco performances, a Sevillanas dance contest, and special performances by “Somos del Sur,” “Antonio Micol,” and “La Húngara.”
There will also be children’s activities and workshops with instructors for the children, as well as the traditional pilgrimage with horses, carriages, and an offering to the Virgin of Pilar on Sunday, May 4.
