The water company owned by Hidraqua and the Torrevieja town hall has published the tender to clean the drains in the town, at a cost of 2,159,054 euro over three years.
Much as is standard in Torrevieja, leaving infrastructure without regular maintenance means that when it comes to cleaning up a much bigger job is required, thus Agamed estimates the cost to maintain the cleanliness of the Torrevieja sewerage network.
The company requires potential bidders to have financial and technical solvency, which will be accredited by the presentation of at least two certificates of contracts executed in the last five years corresponding to works similar in price and entity.
The services to be provided by the successful tenderer include inspection, data collection and preventive cleaning of the sewer and stormwater network, its gates and valves, wastewater and stormwater pumping stations, the treatment plant, as well as the loading and transportation of waste from cleaning to the treatment plant or to an authorised dumping and management point.
