According figures released this week, broken down by autonomous communities, provinces and main municipalities, the evolution of different real estate indicators is reflected in the fourth quarter of 2021 and Benidorm is one of the towns where the price has risen the most in the Valencian Community.
Here, the average price was 2,004 euro per square metre in the last quarter of 2021, representing an increase of 2.25% compared to the figure for June last year, when an average of 1,959 euro per square metre was paid. At the end of 2020, 1,946 euro were paid. In total, the increase has been 3%.
Santa Pola, according to the study by the Appraisal Society, in in second place in the ranking of the price of new housing in Alicante and in fourth place in the Valencian Community (after Benidorm, Valencia and Benicasim).
In December 2021, its price stood at 1,564 euro, 1.9% more than what was paid six months earlier, in the summer, which was 1,535 euro. But, in addition, at the end of the pandemic year the price was the same as in June 2021, 1,535 euro per square metre, so the annual variation is also the same, 1.9%.
After Santa Pola, the capital Alicante is the third in the province and the sixth in the Community in the price of new housing. The figure at the end of 2021 was 1,495 euro per square metre and represents 2.5% more than the 1,459 euro paid in the month of June.
In addition, in December 2020 the amount was almost identical to that of the summer, 1,457 euro. The annual variation has been 2.6% in total.
What is clear is that in all three cases, the rate of increase in house prices has been more notable as of the second half of 2021. The first part of the year remained practically identical to the end of 2020.
