Champion cyclists are working their way around the country at the moment, stopping off far and wide for photo calls, all as part of a promotional campaign to make sure everybody knows the importance of this year´s cycling tour of Spain, La Vuelta.
This year, the race is even more important for the local area of Torrevieja, as the event starts from the Salinas de Torrevieja on 24 August, before meandering through over three-thousand kilometres of terrain to finish in Madrid on 15 September.
“Cycling is a sport that stands and falls by its closeness”, says Javier Guillén, CEO of La Vuelta. “That is why we seek to immerse our partners in the best experience they can have. Our intention is to retain our customers by conveying the emotion and passion we feel whilst doing the Vuelta,” he adds.
