Pat Milligan has been a volunteer with HELP Vega Baja for many years as part of their hospital visiting team, visiting patients at the Vega Baja Hospital. Wanting to do even more, Pat’s time is often taken up organising fundraising events for various charities and her events are becoming more and more popular with tickets in great demand.
On the 6th September, President of HELP Vega Baja, Michele Masson was handed a cheque for 365 euros for the charity by Pat at an event in Callosa de Segura. Over 80 people enjoyed a meal and entertainment by the ever popular entertainer, Woody.
Michele thanked those attending for their support and explained how the donation will be used to help people in the Vega Baja area who find themselves in difficult times.
She also asked everyone to join her in thanking Pat for all the wonderful work she does week after week not only as a HELP Vega Baja volunteer but also for the local community
