Residents in Los Arenales del Sol have denounced a zebra crossing as being a black-spot, after a young man was knocked down whilst crossing the road.
The man suffered multiple injuries in the incident but luckily survived, although the neighbours believe it is only a matter of time before a fatal incident does occur.
The crossing is on a stretch of straight road where cars frequently break the speed limit and lacks sufficient signage or traffic calming measures, according to the complainants.
The neighbours also say that they have witnessed countless near misses and their concerns are amplified following this latest incident.
