San Miguel 2 Wood Triples on Wednesday, saw Len Rudges team top of the league, when Len, Peter Ross and Mike Douglas beat Jan Allen, Sandy Knight and Mick Rogers 19-14 (who were joint top last week with Len): Bob Nesbitt, Tony Sansom, Lee Sinclair had a great result against Sandy Hannan, Joy Trew and Stuart Hemmings 22-12 (fancy not letting Joy win, with it being her 90th birthday – shame on you!!!): Eileen Potts, Maureen Turner and Cliff Plaisted won 21-11 against Ken Hope, Paul Hayward and John Raby: Bill Reeves, Linda Plaisted, Noel Davis beat Joyce Reeves, Bill Knight, Brian Allen 24-9 (hope you made Bill make his own tea that night!!) The strongest team in the league being Stuart Hemmings team!!!!!!!!!
Club mornings are still on, Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays 0945 for 1015.
Members who have entered the Valencian Championships must pay the entry fees to Jan Allen BEFORE 21st August. Jan is also collecting the Federation Fees for 2017. These must be in BEFORE 1st September. REMEMBER – NO PAY, NO PLAY.
