Maria and the Pink Ladies and Panthers AACC Cancer charity annual 5k Santa Walk started and finished at Zenia Boulevard shopping centre on Sunday morning.
Maria took to the stage from where she thanked her supporters and the Boulevard Management for making the event such a success.
In a festive atmosphere over 200 people filled the Boulevard Central Square as they once again marched behind members of the Policia Local, some dancing and some singing along to the Christmas tunes that were being played, happy in the knowledge that every cent of their registration fees and donations will be used by the Orihuela Costa Branch of the cancer charity AACC.
Simon Morton was also on hand as he provided a live link to local radio station of Sunshine FM
Once again participants were very generous as many also donated items of food and toiletries which were passed to a charity for the homeless.
The Pink Ladies will announce the total raised as soon as all the donations have been counted, every cent of which will be donated to the cancer charity AACC.
