Mojácar, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain and an internationally recognised tourist destination, today presented its ambitious promotional campaign for 2025 at FITUR with the slogan ‘Your best time is to experience it’ with its events. At the event, the Tourism Councillor, who represented the municipality in the absence of the Mayor, Francisco García Cerdá, highlighted the richness and uniqueness of this destination, which is positioned as a privileged option for both tourism and everyday life.

Mojácar has established itself as a benchmark for family and sustainable tourism, with 17 kilometres of beaches that have been awarded with distinctions such as Blue Flags, SICTED and Q for Quality, as well as an accommodation offer of more than 19,000 places in hotels, holiday homes and the prestigious Parador de Turismo. The locality also has a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops, which combine tradition with modernity, offering unique experiences.

“The professionalism and effort of the business owners and traders have made Mojácar the destination it is today. But Mojácar is much more than tourism, it is an exceptional place to live, with charm at any time of year”, the Councillor stressed.

During the presentation at FITUR, a moving promotional video was screened which invites families, young people and seniors to put their screens to one side and experience unforgettable times in Mojácar. From exploring its cultural and natural heritage, enjoying the beaches, to sharing culinary and sporting experiences, the message is clear: “Mojácar is for disconnecting and enjoying.”

In 2025 Mojácar will add an extra attraction to its tourism offer with a calendar of unique events that are the perfect excuse for returning to the municipality. Among the highlights are:

– Moors & Christians (since 1988, 37 years of history).

– The Night of the Candles (started in 2013, attracting more than 15,000 people).

– The Disney Festivities, The Romantic Night and and The Most Beautiful Christmas, with Mojácar as Ferrero Rocher Village.

– Festival Mojácar 5 Estrellas, nominated for the Iberian Festival Awards after its successful debut.

Mojácar Council will continue to focus on visibility campaigns on social media, in print and digital media, street-level urban media, and collaborations with influencers, among other actions. Mojácar is also making progress on sustainability and cultural projects, with the backing of the Junta de Andalucía, the Provincial Council and the Sustainability in Destinations Plan.

“Mojácar closed 2024 with historic records in visitors and overnight stays, and in 2025 we will continue working to be a benchmark of quality and excellence in Almería province”, concluded the councillor, underlining the municipality’s commitment to sustainable tourism and innovation.
