Google Street View footage has become a crucial piece of evidence in a murder investigation in northern Spain. The images, captured in October 2023, show a man loading a large white plastic bag into his car trunk at the exact moment the victim’s body was allegedly being removed.
This discovery has led to the arrest of two individuals suspected of the victim’s disappearance and murder. The victim, a 33-year-old Cuban national, was reported missing last year after his relative received suspicious text messages. The dismembered remains of the victim were found in a cemetery earlier this month.
While the Google Street View images have provided valuable clues, police emphasize that they were not the sole factor in solving the case. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and piece together the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
