This is an agreement that is periodically renewed to verify whether the information that each entity has in its database matches.

The Consell has authorised a collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Statistics to carry out a check on the registration of people registered in the Population Information System. This is an agreement that is renewed periodically to check whether the information held by each entity in its database matches.

The purpose of this agreement is to allow the INE to perform a data cross-check to determine the address that appears in the census database of people with SIP cards and who are registered in the Valencian Community.

The SIP is the corporate administrative registry of the Department of Health that contains administrative and health information on people residing in the Valencian Community and those who, although not residents, access health benefits from the Valencian Health System.

In fact, it contains the identification data, location, method of accreditation of the right to health coverage and, where applicable, the assignment of the centre and doctor of the people, which are essential and relevant to be able to carry out both public health programs and adequate epidemiological surveillance.

This agreement has a duration of four years with the possibility of extension and does not entail any expense for any of the signatory entities.
