A series of brazen robberies has terrorized businesses in the Mar Menor region of Spain. In a single night, a gang of hooded men targeted three bars in San Javier, Torre Pacheco, and Murcia, making off with cash and slot machines.

These incidents are part of a broader crime wave that has plagued the area in recent weeks. The robbers often operate in the early hours of the morning, arriving in stolen vehicles and acting with swift efficiency. They typically wear disguises, such as hoods or masks, to conceal their identities.

One particularly audacious robbery occurred on Wednesday morning, when a group of four men stormed the El Ritual restaurant in San Javier. Armed with a stolen Seat Leon, they smashed through the front door and quickly made off with cash, lottery tickets, and a slot machine.

The same night, the gang struck again, targeting a bar in Sucina and another in Los Infiernos. In each case, they employed the same tactics, leaving behind a trail of destruction and fear.

Local authorities, including the Civil Guard, are investigating these crimes and have linked some of them to a specific group of individuals. However, the culprits remain at large, and the community is on edge.

Other recent robberies in the area include a break-in at a Chinese bazaar in San Javier and an armed robbery at a bakery in La Unión. In the latter incident, the robbers, disguised as clowns, threatened employees with a blank gun and a machete.

As the crime wave continues, residents and business owners are urging authorities to take decisive action to apprehend the perpetrators and restore a sense of security to the region.
