In February, the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard in the Valencian Community put a total of 242 drivers at judicial disposal for alleged traffic safety offenses.

There were 106 charged for driving without a license or permit (58 for total loss of points, 10 for being temporarily suspended by judicial decision, 3 for permanent suspension by judicial decision, and 35 for never having obtained a license).

A further 103 were prosecuted for driving under the influence of alcohol, 15 for reckless driving, 2 for hit-and-run, 3 for speeding, and 13 for driving under the influence of drugs.

By province:

In Valencia, 39 drivers were reported for lacking a license or permit, 52 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 6 for reckless driving, and 9 for driving under the influence of drugs.

In Castellón, 23 drivers were reported for lacking a license or permit, 17 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 2 for reckless driving, and 2 for driving under the influence of drugs.

In Alicante, 44 drivers were reported for lacking a license or permit, 34 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 3 for speeding, 7 for reckless driving, 2 for driving under the influence of drugs, and 2 for hit-and-run.
