To commemorate Children’s Day, celebrated on November 20th, the Family Department organized a series of fun-filled activities for the municipality’s young residents.
Tethered Balloon Rides
One of the highlights of the program is a tethered balloon ride, scheduled for Saturday, November 23rd, at 6:00 PM. This free event, open to children aged five and older, will take place in two locations: Los Huertos in Orihuela city and the parking lot of La Zenia Boulevard.
To ensure the safety of all participants, the balloons will be securely anchored to the ground. Children will have priority, and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Balloon Giveaways: On Children’s Day, balloons were distributed to young patients at the Álvarez de la Riva Health Centre to brighten their visits.
Magic Show at the Hospital: A special magic show was performed for hospitalized children at the Vega Baja Regional Hospital.
Disney Musical: On Sunday, November 24th, the Teatro Circo in Orihuela will host a free family musical, “De ellos aprendí,” featuring a review of classic Disney films.
