The town of Los Montesinos in Spain will hold its 13th annual race against gender violence on November 24th, 2024. This event coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The race offers options for all levels: a 5k run, a 10k run, and a charity walk. All routes are a mix of urban asphalt and a short dirt section. The 5k and walk are one lap of the circuit, while the 10k is two laps.
This year, the organizers promise improvements, surprises, and new features. Additionally, childcare will be available for participants during the race, promoting participation for parents.
The race aims to raise awareness about gender-based violence and encourage healthy living through sports participation. It has become a popular event, attracting participants from across eastern Spain.
Registration is now open online for €10 for the 5k, 10k, and walk. Children’s races are free. The start and finish line are at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
