A program of events, activities, music and colour been announced for the 2025 Torrevieja Carnival and structured so as to attract a maximum number of tourists. Events will be concentrated on weekends, so that more people can attend what is certain to be one of the most exciting and glamourous festivals in the whole region.
The program will get underway on 7 February with the proclamation in the Municipal theatre followed 24 hours later by the Gala coronation of the Kings in the same venue.
The main parades will take place on Sunday 23rd February, the Grand Parade Contest, Friday 26th February, Parade of the schools and foreign groups and Saturday March 1st, the Grand Night Parade and end of the festivities
This year, the Cultural Association of Torrevieja Carnival will be responsible for managing all events through a grant awarded by the Department of Fiestas totalling €100,000.
“In this way, they will have much more independence,” said Rosario Martinez, “while the City Council will always be there defending and promoting the Carnival of Torrevieja”.
