Firefighters freed the driver who was in a very serious condition.
Firefighters have been called out this Thursday to a traffic accident caused by a head-on collision between a truck and a car on the CV-930 near Orihuela. The officers, who received the call at 12:34, had to free the driver of the vehicle. She was trapped in her car in a very serious condition , while the driver of the truck was unharmed.
Unfortunately the driver, a 20-year-old woman, finally died as a result of her injuries.
A SAMU unit was dispatched to the scene, whose medical team performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation manoeuvres and other stabilization techniques, but there was no response and her death was confirmed at the scene.
