The Trinidad Alfonso Foundation and the bakery company, Grupo Bimbo, have decided to renew their commitment to promote Valencian sport, with the aim of making projects aimed at promoting physical activity among children and young people in the Comunitat de l’Esport more sustainable.

The promotion and encouragement of grassroots sports is one of the three areas of action of the group presided by Juan Roig, along with the promotion of sporting events and support for athletes and clubs. Through various projects, values such as solidarity, respect, self-improvement and the importance of physical activity among young people are promoted. The ultimate goal of all these projects is to continue building the Valencian Community as the Comunitat de l’Esport from the grassroots level, aware that young people are the future of Valencian sport.

“We are very happy to continue with this agreement that we started last year. It is a source of pride for us, not only that institutions and companies join our projects, but also that they decide to renew the collaboration. This means that they are satisfied with the result of their support in making the Comunitat de l’Esport grow,” explained Juan Miguel Gómez, director of the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation.

“At Bimbo we believe in the transformative power of sport and a healthy lifestyle, especially from an early age. Therefore, we are delighted to once again collaborate with the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation in this project that shares Bimbo’s commitment to the well-being of people and to building a better world,” said Olga Martínez, Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Grupo Bimbo EMEA.
