The Councillor for Vehicle Parks and Contracting in Orihuela, Mónica Pastor, has announced that the tender for the financial leasing, in the rental modality, of 54 vehicles destined for the fleet of the Orihuela City Council’s vehicle park has been published.
The purpose of this contract is to “provide mobility to public employees and city council staff and to be able to develop certain services that require staff to travel, through the renting system,” as explained by the Orihuela councillor.
Mónica Pastor explained that this contract “is divided into 11 lots and includes 2 passenger cars, 13 vans, 3 trucks, a double-load all-terrain vehicle, 12 police vehicles, 6 police motorcycles, 2 garden vehicles and 1 fleet of vehicles.”
The contract will last for 60 months, with the possibility of extending it for a further 12 months, and its budget amounts to 3,223,430.32 euro, IVA included, while the two lots corresponding to the police vehicles will have a duration of 48 months, extendable for a further 12 months.
