Agents from the Elche Local Police have arrested two minors aged 16 and 17 for allegedly stealing a television from a shop in La Marina and fleeing by bus, according to a statement from the Elche council.
The incident occurred on August 22, when a man went to one of the security patrols in La Marina claiming that two young men, who were on a bus bound for Santa Pola, had stolen a television from inside his store located in the La Marina de San Fulgencio urbanisation.
After carrying out the appropriate checks, the officers confirmed that the two minors had taken the television from the establishment after climbing a fence in a plot next door to the store.
The two minors, aged 16 and 17, were arrested and taken to the main Guardia Civil post in Santa Pola where their parents were notified.
