The American fashion multinational Guess continues to demonstrate the strategic role that Spain plays within its business model and plan, this time by opening the first independent store in the country to exclusively sell its line of women’s lingerie “Guess Lingerie”, located in Zenia Boulevard.
“We are delighted to open our first Guess Lingerie store in Alicante,” says Paul Marciano, co-founder and creative director of Guess. “Spain is a key market for our brand, and the wide variety of attractions in La Zenia and the large influx of both tourists and residents make it the ideal place to promote this category, which has experienced an enormous increase in popularity in recent years”. In addition, he maintains, “the new opening also fits perfectly with our strategy of elevating the brand,” from which “we hope to further strengthen our European lingerie operations in the coming years.”
With a surface area of 73 square metres, the opening of this first Guess Lingerie store in Spain will serve to complete the Guess offer in the same shopping centre in La Zenia, from where the company had already been operating through a point of sale for the marketing of its fashion proposals, Guess Lifestyle.
Meanwhile, another American favourite Domino’s Pizza, has also opened a new store in La Zenia, specifically at Los Dolses, adding to the near 400 establishments across the country and more than 70 sub-franchisees, making Domino’s Pizza Spain positioned as number 1 in its sector, not only for its capacity for expansion and job creation, but also for its positive impact on society through charitable initiatives.
