All beaches in the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada will be closed to visitors from 10pm on Wednesday 14 August until 6am on Thursday 15 August.
This is a measure adopted to facilitate the necessary aeration, spreading and levelling work to ensure that the beaches are in “perfect condition”, according to the City Council. This situation is established “given that these maintenance and cleaning tasks must be carried out at night so as not to affect daytime access to the beaches, making them incompatible with their nighttime use”.
In a press release, the Pilar de la Horadada City Council also stated that the consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on public roads and areas, in accordance with the provisions of article 4 of the Ordinance on the Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages published in BOP number 240 dated October 18, 2000. Thus, lighting fires in all types of open spaces is prohibited until October 17, 2024, in accordance with the forestry regulations of the Valencian Community.
