Having broken all records for both passengers and pollution, Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández airport is laying out plans for an even busier summer season, which operationally starts in April and runs through October, and has already started teasing potential passengers with new routes in the buildup to the main event.
As the airport operator terminal announces on its website, the month of March offers seven new destinations from the Alicante-Elche airport. On March 19, EasyJet will launch the route to Birmingham and on March 30, Jet2.com will launch the route to Liverpool.
For its part, on March 31, the new routes to Aarhus (Norwegian), Southampton (EasyJet), Zurich (EasyJet), Munich (Norwegian) and Münster (Ryanair) will be launched.
Starting April 1, there will be the new air connections from Alicante to Barcelona (Ryanair), Norwich (Ryanair), Prague (EasyJet), Nantes (EasyJet), Rome Fiumicino (Wizz Air), Sofia (Ryanair), Newcastle (EasyJet), Zagreb (Ryanair), Rzeszów (Ryanair) and Cardiff (Ryanair).
The Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández airport will continue to inaugurate new air connections to increase the list of destinations you can fly to, both within and outside Europe. That is why a new Alicante-Lille flight will be launched on May 1, which will be operated by EasyJet.
On May 2, the connection with the Irish city of Belfast (also operated by EasyJet) and Vaxjö, in Sweden (Norwegian), will be launched. On May 4 and 5, new flights will begin with the French cities of Lyon and Nice, respectively. In addition, on June 22, Norwegian will begin operating a new air connection with the Danish city of Billund.
