The Consell delegate in Alicante, Agustina Esteve, held a meeting with the mayor of Pilar de la Horadada, José María Pérez, to address the main needs of the residents and convey the Generalitat’s projects in the municipality. The councillors who make up the municipal government team also attended the meeting, held at the Town Hall.
Esteve highlighted that one of the priorities of the Consell is to “collaborate as much as possible with the town councils to improve the quality of life of the residents and efficiently address their needs.”
With this objective, the meetings that she is holding with mayors and councillors of the municipalities of the province are framed, meetings that serve to learn about the specific needs of the municipalities and to bring the Generalitat closer to the local level.
The mayor informed the Consell delegate of the main actions that the council has underway and the initiatives planned for the coming years.
After the meeting, the Consell delegate visited the works of the future Pilar de la Horadada Holy Week Museum and the building that will house the House of Culture, in addition to other educational and cultural facilities. Both projects are advancing at a good pace and are in their final stages of construction, according to the mayor, José María Pérez.
