CF Sporting Albatera defeated CD Almoradi away 2-0 in the 1st Regional Cadet Group 12 with goals from Dani Paval and Noel.
“In what was a very close match played at the El Saladar Municipal Sports Centre, a creditable victory was returned for our Cadet team on a very difficult field,” said a spokesperson from Albatera.
“The match began without a clear dominator and with few chances, from both teams.
“Halfway through the first half, Dani Paval managed to put the yellow team ahead, after finishing off a free-kick taken by Juanjo.
“The match went to half-time, with little football, but with some players exhausted by the effort.
“As soon as the second half began, Noel managed to score the second goal, after a magnificent shot, taking advantage of a good assist from Silvino.
“After 0-2 Almoradi pressed, but Albaterense managed to keep a clean sheet, and thus add three more points, which keep us in the top positions of the classification and closer to the goal set at the beginning of the season,” added the spokesperson.
