The finale of the season, the Player of the Year competition, was held at The New Tavern, San Miguel. Two players from each of the 8 teams were selected by virtue of their season´s performance in the league singles games, ideally having won the majority of their games throughout. For some players this was a 100% record!
The format was a preliminary round robin of four players on each of the four dartboards, every player getting 3 games of 501, best of 3. The winner from each board would be the player with the most legs out of a possible total of 6, earning themselves a place in the semi-finals.

In the 501, best of 5 Semi Finals, Bliss beat Mitch 3-0 in a match that didn´t really show either of form, Bliss hitting just one ton. The 2nd Semi-final between Yvonne and Sue Christie was a lot more entertaining and Yvonne Rouffignac, with a 180 under her belt in the prelims, clocked up a triple D19 max (171) plus a ton and took 3 legs (T14-D16, D16, 20-D20) the last leg competed in just 20 darts.
