The Department of Youth in Pilar de la Horadada is preparing the first Youth Plan that will form a fundamental tool to direct the Council’s action in terms of guaranteeing the rights of young people between 12 and 30 years of age, adapting public policy to the needs, problems and their expectations.
The process has been divided into two parts, the first part of which was a survey on the needs, demands, problems, concerns and interests of young people, involving 250 individuals from the municipality.
The second aspect saw two Youth Forums, both held with the aim of capturing their social needs through debate and discussion. A total of 28 people between the ages of 12 and 30 took part in these forums.
Now the process is underway of reviewing and studying these results, and the specific actions that are required.
The Councillor for Youth said that “knowing the demands and needs of the young people of Pilar de la Horadada is essential to be able to program activities, services and youth events.”
