As the Orihuela council continues to drag it’s feet, the contract for the supply of furniture and equipment for the Orihuela Emergency Centre has finally been awarded at a cost of 73,000 euros.
This contract includes the provision for changing rooms, kitchen, offices, gym and multipurpose room among others.
There is still no indication, however, of when the centre will open.
