As Prime Minster Sanchez seeks a final extension to lockdown on Wednesday the Community moved into phase 2 of de escalation which will result in the re opening of more bars, restaurants and retail establishment across the region, a measure that can only be of benefit to the local economy.
We now hope that the tourism industry can follow suit and start to attract international visitors back to the area ensuring that businessmen and women get at least a slice of the summer holiday season.
