With their cross-pollination of literate, soulful rock and roll and folk traditions of the British Isles, the Waterboys have tread a multitude of musical paths since singer/songwriter Mike Scott formed the group in London in the early-80’s.
Influenced by Simple Minds and The Alarm, today they are more popular than ever, and a great deal closer than you might think because on Friday evening the group will be appearing live in San Javier as part of the 2019 Jazz Festival.
They will feature at the Parque Almansa Auditorium, taking to the stage at 22.45 hrs. Tickets are still available at just 40 euro.
